This is actually the first MINI Cooper S into the United States (Maybe North America?).

He has been doing UTCC for a while. I know the shots below are from '05.

It was used for the Road and Track/ Car and Driver Articles back in '02. The owner had worked it out with BMW that he would get the car after the road tests were done and could start turning it into a race car. He has raced the car all over the country, and has some really good times/ accomplishments in the car. He is racing something else now though and the car sits like a trophy there on the ramp I guess.

Sorry I took such poor pictures.

I actually have been using these wheels off his car on mine for the past few months and had no idea till we started talking and connecting dots yesterday. I also might end up with a set of the old coilovers from the car as well. Let my mini live in its shadow.
