Almost finished with my doorcards:

Just waiting for my handles to come back from the carbonize-guy and some Alcantara to arrive to cover the armrests.

This is what the current panels look like:

(they're the same "Panther Black" blueish, just shows up different in pics due to lighting)

nice, did you have to drill out the plastic on that "y" piece to separate it from the door card?

The decorative strips are held on by plastic studs that are molten on the ends. There are 3 ways to get them of the doorpanel:
- reheat the molten part
- grind them flat with a Dremel
- drill them out

I opted to drill them out with a large wood drill bit. Overdid it on the first panel and had to cover some holes with bondo. Second panel I moved the drill around some more so the studs just snapped loose, took me just 5 minutes and no visible damage.

Skinny winter tires (Yokohama W.Drive in 175mm) work a charm in fresh snow!

Thanks! If you ever hold on to a ride long enough, you should have me snap some pics of it!

It took a while to get everything together for the steering wheel, but managed to score all parts from the Dutch Mini-forum, apart from the steering wheel itself, that I got from a German dealer.
