Still pretty clear where their inspiration came from.

Considering how close their relationship is with BMW, I highly doubt there's an issue at hand. The new M4 has the same tips. I wouldn't be surprised if Akrapovic had a hand in it honestly... they do the exhausts on the BMW DTM cars.

Oh I wasn't aware of that. Good to know. I'm not knocking the tips. They look cool.

Lol. It's nothing crazy when it's on paper like that, but the appearance is that it's longer in the front. I don't know if it's the loss of the "blunt" nose because the front is more rounded/headlights look sunk back, but it definitely has that appearance.

Even on paper it's a ~10% increase in front overhang which is pretty drastic...especially since the R56 seemed even less than the R53 which seemed even less blunt than the old Austins we all love.

Bingo. 3 inches is nothing to brush off. Especially since it's 3 inches longer than the R56 which is already longer.

Would like to see an overlay comparing the F56 to the R53. Wondering if the longer nose is going to give it better aerodynamics? Still better looking than the Fiat, especially the longer Fiat, OMGosh, what a beast!

I saw one of those on the road the other day. I can't say I'm a fan.

This completely sums up what's been happening to all of the model revisions.
