Just did the Joey mod, but I have one question. How are you guys cleaning the smudges off the reflector portion after removing the tape? I rubbed through the mirror finish on one spot, and am afraid to do it again. Please help.

that chromium reflector stuff is soft. anything will pretty much smudge it. i'd try a few pieces of toilet paper and warm water.

Yeah, painters tape. I wish I would have tried to get the smudges out so hard because I rubbed through it on one. Now I'm afraid to try and clean it even more. I wish there was a way to fix it.

There really isnt much to paint......practically the entire headlight housing is the reflector which you have to leave chrome:

(just a random google image pic....dont worry about the before after)

that one isnt mine, i have the chrome headlights, but not the whole thing is reflector.i was goin to paint mine red to match. if u look at the pic of the red mustang above u can see how far back i can go, because the reflector ends about 4 inches before the plastic. so i can paint all that

your local dealer should be able to order the paint for you. If youre going to the south bay area let me know in advance and I can probably order it for you as well.

less than one can for both. I'll do facelift cars for anyone who is skeerd. you just have to come over. (beer is in the fridge) I even have the paint already. Bring 2 sq ft of flat black vinyl and get your rings wrapped too.
