Their service is pretty good, I took a pic of my wiring on the back to the Thermostat and within 15 minutes they contact me to say that it would work with my system.. On a Sunday!

Got a 3/8" one of these on a whim a few weeks ago at Advance Auto Parts. This thing was a godsend getting some of the bolts loose when I was replacing the turbo oil lines on the R56.

Why do I feel the need to buy one of those now? I think it'll wind up like my rivet tool. Used for all kinds of stuff while thinking "man I wish I had this back when..."

Hmm I'll have to look. The issue was that our setup didn't send enough voltage through the lines for the Nest to pick up. It's some kind of energy saving feature on our HVAC.

If you know anyone in Mass you can save some money on the NEST using this link https://store.learningthermostat.nes...=national-grid
