Hello everyone,
After a few years of driving my 04 R53 nearly stock I decided to give it a few upgrades.. So here is some of the parts and mods that were done in the summer of 2015. - Momo 350mm suede steering wheel - Momo wheel hub adapter - Momo bucket seats - Wilwood 4 piston 11.75" front BBK - ST coilovers - 15x8 et35 Kosei K1's - 225/45/15 Hankook RS3's - Ireland engineering adjustable camber plates - Alta adjustable front end links - Megan racing rear control arms - Electric water pump conversion (Davies Craig 8005 EWP80 Remote Electric Water Pump Kit 80 liters per minute) - Alta catch can - 15% reduction pulley - JCW injectors - 2 year old kitten along with some replacement parts.. wheel bearings, wheel speed sensor, oil cooler gaskets, etc... ![]() ![]() The Mini hasnt really been driven lately, just sitting in my garage. I'm currently dedicating all my time to finish the frame off resto of my first car, a 1994 Jeep YJ that I picked up about 6 years ago back during my high school years. The YJ project is taking a little longer than expected. Originally, the intention was just to rebuild it with a new frame... but, It was nearly impossible to keep myself from modding... As of now, its lifted and supercharged. Just getting the new brake lines, fuel cell, and seats in so that I can move on with the Mini. Here's a pic of the Jeep with new guts. ![]() The Mini itself needs some work.. Once the jeep rolls out, I'll be replacing the clutch with a valeo and dropping in an OBX LSD. Also working on recreating the plastic modular front end to house an aluminum half size honda radiator, FMIC, and oil cooler. AC will be deleted! Here's a render of my car with the FMIC and GP front bumper ![]() |

Love it! The 15x8 K1's on 225/45 looks absolutely perfect! Keep it up. I love what you're doing with this.

I love it man. I love to see quality parts going on a nice and clean indi blue r53.
Love what you have done so far. Keep us posted. I see what you are trying to accomplish with your radiator setup. Look familiar? ![]() If you need advice or help let me know. If you are staying supercharged, I would stay away from the front mount intercooler. You end up losing more hp than its worth of gaining cooling etc. |

I'm located in Boston. I was thinking about just bolting a new mishimoto to it and keeping it as is. Maybe just I'll just pick up a GP IC further down the road.
I'm looking to go with RMW's TVS kit, I'm very interested in it. Might just get an aluminum rad for this year's season. |
