Another solution would be to get a used or new MCS bumper and have it shot Velvet Red ....it would look amazing!!!! Don't get me wrong, I love the Cooper bumper to death, but it's a mater of function over looks.....Your Cooper is a track beast!

what if you removed the chrome strip, installed the duct, and reinstalled the chrome strip? the strip would cover up part of the duct but both would still be there.

i have no idea if it would work... i haven't been that close to a cooper bumper before.

That was my first instinct when I thought there was only around 1/4" of overlap. But, there's more like 3/4" overlap, so I don't think it would look all that good.

Yes, I know the ducts are for function, not looks. But...
