That was a rather aggressive defending of position, but Kobayashi was coming out of the pits and never went any further over than half track. Probably not a real smart move for Kaz to pass a guy coming out of the pits there on the left side.

Well, that's it for the season. I have to say, this last race reinforces me complete and utter HATE of Hermann Tilke tracks. They're nice to look at, but wtf is with all the zig-zag exits to the turns? You pass someone and he just gets it back through the second half of the turn. It makes passing even more impossible, and makes the races even more boring. How does this guy keep getting jobs?

x2. Another weak race at an overblown new venue at the expense of traditional tracks. Congrats on what your greedy ways have brought us Bernie.

The fight between Button and Webber the last two laps was pretty damn good too. Mark sure made it hard as hell for him to try it, but amazingly no body contact! Well done guys!

What a nasty track.
Why can't the US pull something like that off?
Hopefully in time...

A great race to watch.
Felt bad for Hamilton, he was running really strong all weekend.
Sucks to have mechanical problems, but that come with the job.
Nice to see Webber hold off Button at the end.
I am really liking the way that Kobayashi is racing too, good racer to watch.

Next season should be something.
GO FERRARI!

Bridgestone is out of F1 at the end of next season. That has to be a huge blow to Ferrari and other long term partners.

Wonder if we'll see Goodyear back in F1?

Interesting venue , nice duel at the end and Kobi was entertaining to watch scrapping with his " seniors ". With the cost of this facility being 36 Billion dollars I do not think there are many other places in the world that have the resources to come anywhere close to it . From my viewpoint it was unfortunate that Hamilton had a DQ after winning the pole by the biggest margin in years but as he said " one mechanical breakdown in the entire season ,how can I complain ? " Next year will be interesting with the cars taking on the weight of an entire race at one time . Should prove to be a good challenge to whomever the new tire supplier will be. Also this just in Toyota officially out of F1. Who's next ?

I'm surprised Toyota left. They could have had two Japanese drivers had they wanted.

Oh well, more drivers freed up for the new teams.
