From memory yes to all, they tend to cut the top to allow full adjustment, but some of the KW plates appear to the slim plates that allow the full range without the need to cut the shock tower, and with some massaging of the inner of the tower too, the most ive run is -3 on the cross, but that required no modification to any part of the car.

Yah, I've had no problem with the -3 range when using 2.5s but I have to imagine -6 would require some serious massaging.
