Well, to some it "just a car, what's the big deal", to others it's past obsession, and would rather go Hungry to buy or do something for or with there car. For Mini's
I believe this is called the "Mini Culture",
young , old yada yada yada, here at m|u it's along and past the obsession part. For me it's about events from the past , and experiences, Ex-Military Intelligence Analyst NSA. Car named "surreptitious"
meaning 1. obtained, done, made, etc., by stealth; secret or unauthorized; clandestine: a surreptitious glance.
2. acting in a stealthy way.

Dopamine.

i have a story why the Mini is named that but, its lengthy so, i just tell people to drive it and they will understand.
every car i have owned has had a name. i guess it just kinda pops up because of something and the name sticks.

In order of appearance:
'86 IROC Z28-Sasha
'98 Plymouth Breeze- The Hurricane
'84 Z28- Caroline
'98 Chevy Cavalier-The Ohana
Current:
'02 MCS-Sheila
'04Honda Shadow-Brandi

most of the names I came up with I just drove the car for a while, and then just thought of it. If it fit, I let it be.

Mine is Pearl.
I originally wanted to name it Anesthesia(bad religion song) but my mother didnt like that. She wanted the black pearl, I dropped the black part, and now she goes by Pearl.

It worked out well, because there used to be a Minnie Pearl that was a country singer/ comedian/ actress, and Mr. Krabs in Spongebob square pants has a daughter name Pearl.

Obviously I have Dexter.

I've been a fan of the show way before I had the MCS. But when I was test driving him with my wife I told her what his name as before I even said I wanted it.

The fit is great, cool and collective on the outside, everyone loves it and thinks he's 'cute'.

But on the inside we all know there's a monster lurking, waiting to get out.
