Well the 17s are for sale I'd rather get new coilovers that will go low enough in the front than give up the wheels I have now. I was gonna do it so jonv could see the difference between 16 and 17 if he was interested in picking up my Megans

wow.. that just sucks badly. How about the BC?
If u want to ride low, just go for the KW or H&R.. reputable and very comfortable.
i'm not even half way down on the H&R and they are slammed.

can you please slap the 17's on and take a pic? even just one tire? i've got a decision to make... i thought coils were almost within my grasp but now this news screws it all up...

they've gotta sit lower than my hsports now. at least up front.

can this be fixed by ordering different springs? (shorter ones)

If this is the case, I'm pretty diappointed. I was really excited about the Megans. The back is ridiculously slammed but the front is higher than it was with just my H-sport springs on.

I'm on H-Sports right now and it does look higher up front. I was just interested in the megans since it has camber plates already. . what are other coil overs with camber plates (or is it just megan and BC?) . Any other suggestions for roughly the same price range? I don't really want to spend 2k on coilovers.

Get the specs on the springs and you can find shorter ones, no problem. Talk to Ray (RFIbanez) he might be able to track some down for you, he can get Eibachs I believe.

That's about what my front end looks like with my 17s. There's gotta be a way to get that down.

My H-Sports sit lower than that

Maybe Kal will chime in with his K-Sports (similar design to BC/Megan), he's tucking (quite ridiculously I might add) his 18s...

Of the traditional style coilovers which one offers the largest drop? KW?

I bought a set of Megans last month and I had the same problem with only being able to drop 1.5 inches at "full" drop, I was disappointed to say the least ! I was put in touch with Megan and we came up with a solution. They sent me a set of shorter springs and a set of shocks to match the length of the springs for the fronts. The result was that I am now able to drop 2 inches which is good but, I wish I had a little more wiggle room to go a bit lower if I wanted to. I think Megan might offer this spring/shock combo to those that want a bit more drop.

Here is a couple of shots of my car at full drop on my 18's. The second shot was from this weekend in Vegas. I've overexposed the shot so as to see the drop better.
