That rumor's been out there for a year. And I saw it repeated, as a rumor, on Pitpass a couple of days ago. I sure would like to know what classifies Kimi as a whiner? He may not be "all in" on F1 like others, but he really hasn't been a whiner. I expect he'll retire from F1 in 2010 and move on to some other racing.

Also, Renault failed two of their safety tests. The last time that happened, they won the WC with Alonso.

And still no buyer for Honda, and Ferrari has said no to an engine deal with the that team. Doesn't look good.

Mercedes-Benz has now emerged as the most likely engine supplier should a buyer for Honda be found.

Although team boss Ross Brawn's links with Ferrari were expected to result in a supply of customer engines for the beleaguered outfit, Stefano Domenicali revealed this week that the chance of a deal with Honda is actually 'close to zero'.

Subsequently, on Tuesday, Mercedes' competition chief Norbert Haug told Autosport that supplying Honda in 2009 is a possibility. "If there is a feasible solution with an investor for that team, we would be prepared to discuss it," the German said.

Mercedes-Benz, shareholder and works supplier of engines to McLaren, recently reached a wide-ranging technical collaboration with the formerly Ferrari-powered Force India.

Haug said Mercedes is also willing to help the Brackley-based team "for the sake of Formula One."

That overhead angle is horrible.

Looks like some sort of weird shovel or plow going on with the front wing. I think that's an angle you should not view an F1 car from.

Nice to see more "Renault yellow & white" on that car. Takes me back a few years.

The Williams is the best looking 09 car so far. The Renault looks decent too, but they're always so square.

I love the McLaren. Would be amazing if they could put some proper sized front and rear wings one there. Fronts to big, back to narrow and tall

Rules are rules. Like Molly said; looks are not what they are after. You have to work with what you've got. Bernie keeps trying to change things for the sake of change it seems. Maybe the stars will align and competition will be even better this year? We can hope!
