Default pi new knob

Dig it!
I just got a my new shift knob for Alfie! custom made by Doug at Whalen Shift Machine.

This is a real one of a kind piece using copper and stainless steel inserts.

Doug experimented with cutting my pi out of copper and stainless...

Then the stainless knob ball was tapered to make a flat top to accept the emblem...
... the entire knob was "brushed"...
... and the end result rocks:

Thanks for your wonderful work Doug!

Place a (clean) sock over a metal shift knob in cold weather for increased comfort, if you're a redneck substitute NASCAR beer coozie for sock.

I have had a Whalen knob for a couple years. I have not really had an issue with the knob ever getting too hot. Yeah, it can be cold sometimes, but it warms up fast. I really love the feel of a nice stainless knob.

This is my first knob (made by Whalen of course)

He actually took my first knob and made it into the knob for Molly.

There's jokes in there somewhere. Have at it.

So he brushed and tapered your knob and gave it to another girl to handle?

I tried....
