Fantasy Baseball??
Hey guys, I realize that today was opening day for the baseball season, which snuck up on me this year, but I was wondering if there was interest in getting a yahoo fantasy league going. If I can get at least 7 people (it's more challenging when you have 7-10 teams) interested I will set the league up. You just have to have a yahoo account (e-mail) which takes a minute to setup if you don't have one. This is also a free league so it won't cost you anything. We need to act on this asap though so we can schedule a time to have a live draft. I don't want to wait till the season is in full swing and everyone knows who is having a breakout/slump season.
For those who have never done this it's easy to setup. Get a Yahoo account first then do the following: 1. Go to Yahoo Sports (http://sports.yahoo.com/) 2. select the "fantasy" option in orange on the menu near the top of the page. A drop down box will appear and click on "baseball" 3. Then select the option "Join a League" in BLUE under the Baseball '09 title. 4. Click the "Join Custom" option which takes you to a screen where you enter the League ID (328826) and the password (GoBraves) which is case sensative by the way. 5. Your done! Do your pre-draft rankings if you desire and read the scoring and settings

Well, I know this is short notice, but I created a league and the live draft is tomorrow (Thursday) at 9:00 AM. Remember if you can't make the live draft then you can put your players in the order you would draft them at tonight and yahoo will draft them for you.

I edited the league to have a max number of 10 teams. I had to look at how many were in my league last year. I hope we can get that many, but if not oh well. So as of right now there are still 8 positions open.
