The OZ ultraleggera is a special HLT process which is from OZ's F1 knowledge. It's basically a low pressure flow form process and then they roll the barrels after to the desired width. It makes a cast wheel that's close in property to a forged wheel. Stronger and lighter than your regular everyday cast wheel.

They look rather different as well.

Those Sparcos are closer to the Alleggrita,

I have a buddy that has a set of Ewing III wheels I think in 17x7.5s that are in okay shape no bends just a nick or two, do you guys have any idea what would be a good starting price for him to sell them at? The need a polish and maybe need to be repainted. These are the style of wheel but, not them:

Brand new in the box BBS RS301. Ultimate OE wheel. 7.5"x17" 5x100 et33.

Never been fitted, never had tyres fitted, absolutely perfect. Still with the valves in packets & TUV paperwork.

That's crazy!!

I dont think they would ever sell for that much over here. You could buy two sets or build a crazy set for that price.

BNIB or not, unless someone was building a full blown trailer queen, as soon as they have tires mounted, see a day of driving, they are worth no more than any other set of the same type. and 17's are common enough, don't think they'd fetch anything near that here. I know people that got 18" 3pc RS for that kind of price, and THOSE are rare.
