Default Are 05+ spoilers bigger?

So i hadn't heard about this, but its mentioned on helix's website that 05+ cars have bigger spoilers than the 02-04 MCS's. How much bigger are we talking, and did they make the steepness any different? Was it for a functional reason?

They are different. I have an '05 and I don't remember much about what the difference is but pics I've seen of 04's (mini usa broschure) look a bit different.

Well if you'd asked when I was at home I could tell you. I have a pic of our cars rear ends right next to each other.:p

I'll have to take a look when I am at the dealership tonight, I'd never even thought about that.

from helix:

Quote:
Many people suffer from the Freudian condition of WING ENVY. Is his wing bigger than yours? Wing envy has reached epidemic proportions in the MINI community since the release of the '05 cars, with thier bigger rear wings. What to do for the little guys ('02-'04)? Get a big carbon fiber rear wing. It is exactly the same size as the '05 wings, and it's real carbon fiber with a high-gloss finish.

I wanna see this larger wing.

Actually, what I really want is that old aero kit wing they used to list on the website, where it doesn't have the opening in the middle.
