Yeah it's really easy to do. I did them on my Cooper. Don't worry Ben...I had those on there for 3 years and never got in trouble once.

I'd do it again, but it will mess up the color scheme I'm going for. Nomo...I'll keep looking around, but if you find any aftermarket lights, let me know. I'm looking to swap mine out eventually as well.

Yeah, the difference is between 2002-2004 and 2005-2006.

you can put an 02-04 tail light in an 05 car.

the top light on an 02-04 light becomes the backup light, and the brake and turn signals work the same as usual.

I just got a set of clear 02-04 Aero tails for my Cooper, then i had a red LED brake bulb and a clear bulb for the turn and the revgers light. i also put a reverse light in my bumper where there was a block off plate.

Well, sure. Anything is possible if you're willing to do the wiring job. How hard was it to do?

Oh yeah, I know which one's your talking about. I didn't know they were JCW's though, I just heard everyone call them euro taillights but yeah those look real good. They keep the original style but replace the amber light with a clear one.........looks cleaner.

you dont have to rewire anything

its plugs right in. ready to go.

its all set and ready to go. you dont HAVE TO add a revers light in the bumper, but i ran a jumper wire from the reverse wire down to a light in the bumper anyways.
