What do they handle like? Do they roll a lot in the corners? Are they quite a firm ride?

They're good for what you pay for them

They are a pretty firm ride. and not too much roll in a corner. I did a track day with mine and was pretty pleased with the performance.

A lot of the roll will be dependent on your roll center which is more about your geometry than your coilover selection.

i personally find them terrible for performance, but i have never owned a set, just have ridden on some on the street.

I think they're pretty good quality for what you pay but like Chase said, if you're aiming more for performance handling instead of just a good drop for your DD, don't buy these. Buy some KW's or something.

Yup Vmaxx are not high performance struts. Neither are KWs really unless you get into the klubsport stuff, or perhaps v3.

If you want performance, look to Bilstein or AST. Ohlins is you're getting really competitive.

With that said, I don't think many people on MU track their MINIs, so they offer a lot of what people are looking for. A good drop, a decent ride, and an affordable price point. They're still better than lowering springs and a quarter inch of travel on stock style struts
