They aren't any of the cobra classic seats, not OMP, not GTS Classics....what the heck are they? I love them. They're a great balance of classic bucket styling with modern aesthetics thrown in. Notice the visible fiberglass shell akin to contemporary recaros that differentiate it from the Cobra classic line. Any idea what they are?

maybe I should read rather than look at the picture
![]() Saying that it still could be, they look to be a re-trim. You could obtain that look starting with a normal GRP seat frame... I have a lot of parts made at the same place as cobra seats shells are made and I am sure you could start with a bare shell looking at the shells being made

Yeah, that's sorta what I've been contemplating. What I'm looking for is something akin to the collaboration between Singer Porsche and Recaro. Because of their close relationship, they work together to produce these great buckets. They're basically your standard Recaro Pole Position, with the head halo lopped off and classic headrests safely attached to still provide safety.

Worth noting, Cobra teamed up with Players to do something very similar, but I dont think they list them yet. I just don't like the way Cobra finishes their seats....they come out so "puffy".

Its hard to tell because of the shape of the back support on those seats. Based soley on the back support and not the styling they look like the Bride classic seats but i doubt they are those.
Ive been following the dudes over at GTS classics seats. I like some of there stuff |

Yeah, GTS is on my list of potentials, but I'm not 100% enthusiastic about the finish on their upholstery considering how expensive they are. They're 5 times the cost of Cobras, and while the fit and finish is certainly better, it's not up to par with what I think a $800-$1k seat should be.

Have you considered making your own seats? I've thought about going that route in the past by coming up with a template for the seat structure and handing it over to someone with metal skills. From there you're shaving down some foam and then letting an experienced upholsterer do their thing. I figured it would cost a little less than decent buckets and would be exactly what I wanted. I'm sure you know the right people to help make that happen.

Safety things are one of the things I won't take on myself. Seat structures are so important that I'll leave it to the pros.
