Default What other grills are out there for the MINI?

The only ones i've seen so far are the areo and a chrome stock grill/ or blacked out.

Any one have photos of other grills?

most of the other ones are pretty disgusting.

a few laser cut ones that look like they belong on an F150, some billet ones that dont quite fit right, and a few that 2 way tape on to look like either a chrome or CF aero grille.

lok on ebay, there are lots on there to see.

nope...this is one of the many places that clearly shows the weakness of the MINI aftermarket. Look at any VW, they have atleast 10 completely different grills that look nothing like stock (and that isnt including the cheap eBay type stuff). Even for the MK5....

Yeah, it would be pretty easy to paint since your MINI is black. I'm not a big fan of chrome so I got the aero grill. The top fits good but the bottom sticks out and looks like shit. I took my stock grill sanded it down any I just primered it yesterday. I'm going to go get some low gloss enamel paint tomarrow and paint it. I'll post pics when I put it on. It should look pretty good and fit perfect since it's a stock piece.

Oh yeah, have you looked at M7's ultimate grill? I still can't decide if I like it or not.

just use bumper and trim paint from autozone on the grille pieces. its what i used on my last mini.

holds up well to rocks due to a small ammount of the rubber in it, and it goes well with every color. i think it would look good with a flat black or semi gloss grille on the car, even if it is a metallic black car.

as far as the M7 go, frankly, i dont like them at all. they look out of place on our cars. missing the piece of trim surround on the grill leaves what seems to be a gap where your missing something. every time i look at it, it looks out of place. even the lower, lower grille. but just my opinion, others may feel differently.

Yeah, I don't like the silver ones at all but the black ones sometimes look pretty good. I remember seeing a all black cooper S with black upper, middle and lower M7 grills and it looked pretty good. I think he's selling his car on NAM if you want to take a look at it.(I don't know how to post a link )
