OK, it may be obvious to you and to him, but he didn't include a disclaimer to make sure that an average reader who doesn't know any better doesn't kill himself obliviously. There are a lot of people out there [the majority] who don't know any better... Clearly, he didn't intend harm! But, it must be said.

Then what the heck are they doing putting non-reclining seats in their car? If you dont know the simplest thing about race prep, i wouldn't think that you would be getting harnesses and a hardcore race seat. Ivan has preached many times that you need the roll cage, just not in this specific thread. So no worries dude

Thanks, Rally. No doubt, if you're gonna get harnesses and a fixed seat, at the bare minimum, a roll bar approved for that purpose is required, in my eyes. My apologies for not mentioning that again. A half cage (at least) is in my future, for rigidity and safety.

Good to hear, man! . Seriously, I'd hate to see people who I care about hurt/maimed/gasp without at least speaking up in advance. I don't know what you or anyone else knows, and I've seen my fair share of IDIOTS doing stupid stuff to cars in the name of being "racer"-like. I don't believe in letting people learn the hard way. So, yeah, I don't let important information go un-said.
