According to the article, about 30 dealerships are going to get them to show off. Don't we have someone here with a Harley dealership in Chicago or something? Allblack maybe?

Would be curious about actual first impressions.

It would be straight up weird to ride a Harley without the classic engine note.

I absolutely love the look, but yeah would be very strange to not hear a rumble to the motor.

I wonder if they did something to minimize torque at launch, that would be sketchy to have virtually 100% torque at 0-10 MPH

It's a trailer touring the country with a couple bikes in it. One static display bike and one you can "ride" on what is essentially a simplified dyno Harley calls the "Jump Start riding simulator". Pretty cool.

Last year our engine guy was at Bonneville talking to Eva from killacycle racing and the Killacycle folks had some meetings with an undisclosed manufacturer after the races.

Their strength was developing an algorithm for the bike that allowed the normally instant full power of electric vehicles scalable and manageable.

Ariel , yes those Atom guys have come out with wht they call a " configurable " bike based on the HD 1200.
