If we finally move to Charleston I'm definitely snatching one up. They make me:

I had the same model, same color, it's very good for a ridding bike of a beginner or an amateur. Some say it's underpowered, but honestly I don't feel like I need 1000ccs on a public road. the clutch lasted forever under adult use and it got good gas mileage.

Well yeah... As you know, CC's have no bearing on actual HP, but I get what you're sayin'

For example, my Thruxton is a 900 with 69HP, but the Triumph Daytona is a 675 with 126HP.

i was referring to bike size it's self like most of the 1000's i had the opportunity to ride felt heavier and they just seemed bigger than my 599. but yah that's true

So I assumed you were talking about power since those were the words you used. I guess I misunderstood

You don't need 1000ccs ANYWHERE

GSXR 1000 and GSXR 600 had a race one day. The GSXR 1000 MATCHED the 600 in the straight and the 600 BEAT THE THOU in the corners.

The lightness of a 600 over a 1000 will give you SO much more out of an engine than the ccs make up for.

I've riden an 1100 blackbird and that thing is just way too much in comparison the the SV650 I'm buying.

it might be I'm a teeny tiny 5'1" female.. but **** if I can't get those things into corners very well. I'm damn near hanging off the bike to get any lean.
