LOL that would be awesome get them done by cafe press and sit them on the seats of baggers while the guy is inside buying his dragon sticker.

I don't see any problem with driving the Dragon at a relaxed pace, instead of always treating it like the race track it's not.

It looks to me like he either over-estimated his skills or just plain made a mistake. Looks like he'll have plenty of time to replay it in his mind though.

It's not the pace that bothers me, it's the fat bastards who don't/won't look in their mirrors, or if they do the refuse to move over 3ft and wave a faster rider through. But that's a subject for another place

and just because it was so freaking cool to hang out and talk performance with these guys:

left: Mike Witt (our shop engine tech-as part of Buell Brothers Racing 2 land Speed records)
plaid shirt: Warner Riley 4 class land speed Records untouched since set 1971-173.832mph, 1972-206.544mph, 1974-199.5mph and 1975-159.414mph (the 206 was on an Ironhead Sporty)
Seated on the bike: Jimbo Fischer Set the record for his class (140mph) in 2007 but lost it in 2008 by .109mph, hit 141 on the first of 2 runs last year but didn't top the record on the second.

so far Jimbos bike looks like it should be capable of coming out on top again

That's a pretty closed minded comment. Some of us have pickup trucks and harleys, and other toys other than our Minis. I can guarantee my 2010 Nightster handles a little better than you'd imagine. But What do I know. I've never taken on a Ducati 999R or a Yamaha R1, or a CBR 600RR, or my brothers 70's Honda Cafe racer... I just ride my big fat turd in a straight line while my fat ass eats a hamburger....

I have a customer with a bagger who uses the folded up foot pegs on his engine guard as wear pins in corners. He's a little nuts though, he has as a stated goal of 200 mph on his ultra (bat wing fairing). We de tuned his bike to keep him alive.
