So have you decided which kit? Oh yeah and in the plus 4 kit you don't have an option of cross drilled. Oh well I guess your stuck with those massive, zinc platted, gas slotted beauties. Oh well.

Werd. Plus, with the Ferodos, you could always make things interesting at the track by slapping in some DS3000 (track-only) for one or both axles.

HAHA. well, im just not satisfied with the stock brakes i have on my mini. So i am going to try the BBK to see if they are any better. Im assuming they will be. I hope..........

I'm personally sticking with non-BBK upgrades (not just because i run 15s). I do some track days, and lots of hardcore driving....but still think a BBK will offer little improvement over simple line/fluid/rotor/pad/bushing upgrades.
If you get the right set up with the right parts, you can save a lot of money while still getting a lot of improvement. Not to mention, the weight distribution will be better for acceleration with the stock sized brakes. |

no they let the gasses vent under hard driving, making it cooler and less prone to fade

They do both, actually. I don't know how much more pad wear you'll get, as I've never used slotted rotors. No fade yet with my Ferodo DS2500+ATE Super Blue+Ireland Stainless Steel Lines combo, so I don't see what all the fuss is about.
