The man who bought Otto's kart, Stu Hayner, might be racing his Volvo in the Speed Challenge. They've been having bad luck and sponsor problems.

Still an unsure for this year's ALMS, saving up for Christmas in Germany.

Yeah, it should be fun, but damn dollar is upside down for us, so it isn't cheap anymore. Luckily, we stay at my brother's place, so we don't have hotel costs.

So, that is why ALMS is a maybe. Wanted to get back on thread for admin's sake. Still sucking up for membership!

Ivan, IF I can break one of your legs so we can ride around in a golf cart all weekend I'll go. (I went with one of my buddies how had a messed up leg....getting to the top of the corkscrew is SOOO much easier in a golf cart....)

I'm gonna start callin' you Wheezie from now on. Use that gym membership Maria gave you... you've got over a month to get into Corkscrew climbin' shape!

Bump!

Scratch the hotel reservations... it looks like Ray and I will be ordering up a campsite in the Grand Prix campground. Anybody game? The campsite is $150, so it'd be cool if we could split it up a few ways.

Hey Sid, how big are the "S" campsites? It says "21 - 27 ft" here, but says nothing about width. Just trying to get an idea of how many tents/cars we can fit in one.

Here's the deal:

Reserve 150, 151, 152 or 153 at the Grand Prix Campground for the best views. If you remember from last year when you were up there, they'll hold a couple of tents and a couple of cars.

Call Mel Sibayan at 831 242 8222 to reserve a golf cart for the weekend. Tell her your brother has a gammy leg. There's a 3 day minimum. It costs $360 for the weekend. REALLY worth it!!
