Default Mini Cooper Compatibility???

I know its a broad question to ask but is there an easy answer to what parts are interchangeable with the coopers? I have an '03 R50 and I see all these descriptions says for MCS, so if I stay away from the engine stuff can I still use the parts? like for example...

http://www.harrisonmotorsports.com/s...roducts_id=304

it says its for the MCS, I know in the( 02-06 i think), the front grill changed, but did the grill change for the 02-06 non S and the S..

Hopefully that makes sense...

Thanks in advance

That's for the lower bumper grille i believe (based on the pic) ....in which case, it's very different.

Check it out:

You can always convert over to MCS bodywork.

Rally was the first to run an MCS front on a Cooper, and I was one of the first to get an MCS rear bumper to fit a Cooper.

As far as Cooper performance goes, if your trying to go fast, the best advice I can give you is go S. I did, i wanted power and it worked out well for me.

Coopers are better handling cars. I wouldn't expect more than 130-150 whp from a modified Cooper, and thats dumping quite a bit of money into it.

Rally was able to keep up with my ~230whp S on the autox track. Im not sure of his power, but I know its not near what I was running. He was only trailing by a second at most.

Does the MSC bumpers bolt right up or did / Do you have to cut and mod?

Bumpers are about $150 on eBay.
Less than an hour per bumper for a first timer.

I'll have to get you a pic of my car with an MCS rear too.

yah....doesnt take long at all.

It's like 12 screws....and then drill 6 holes to remount the fogs if you have them. The holes are pre-marked from the factory too so there is no screwing up.

Took me an hour. Got the bumper off an aero-kit install

^That would be awesome

But for the MCS rear doesnt it have the cutout for the exhaust in the center?

WOW! didnt think that they would be that cheap.. I will look them up and go that route..

the black arch pieces from your current bumper transfer over to the rear MCS bumper so you just keep the same side cutout
