Default Helmet?

Open face or full coverage? I think I'm going to get one to use for track days and am looking for advice. I'm leaning toward open, but...

I think open would probably be more comfortable during the summer, but I ended up getting full face so I could use it at the local go-kart track and not have to use theirs with someone else's head funk innit.

Full face.

Not that it happens too often, but even during autocross runs weird stuff can go down and the extra protection is nice (beats getting bashed by your airbag if nothing else). And, full face helmets guarantee use in more venues (like karting).

Fullface. You can always take the shield off and use your sunglasses if it gets too warm in the car. But then if you ride a bike or Kart you can throw it back on

full face will be your friend incase of and airbag. It really all depends on how much you like what people look at chances are nothing will happen in autox but you never know. I would def. go full face if your doing hped

Ok, thanks everyone. Full face it is. I think I'll head up to the shop at Infineon today and try some on. I think the local P-car club is on the track, which might be fun to watch.

Fun watching the Porsches through turn 11. Huge range of skills/speeds on the track. Can't wait to get out there again soon.

I have the old version of that collecting dust on my shelf. It's a good can for your head.

Roughly how much for it if you don't mind me asking? Need to get a SA2005 can myself...
