I'm on a Mac. They both have free trials, so I may try both of them. I'm starting with LR because if I ever decide to switch back to a PC, I won't have to relearn a new editing program. Plus it integrates with Photoshop really well.

Yeah, you should try it, I think you'll like it. I still use PS for photo illustrations and whatnot, but toning in Aperture is what toning should have always been like, IMO. I also really like the non-destructive editing.

Off topic - Ducks, how are getting OS X on your PC? Are you doing the whole "Psystar" thing? Because that would be pretty awesome.

Edits in LR are also non-destructive, though. Damnit I had already made a decision on LR, now I'm going to have to try them both. I guess I'll start watching the Aperture tutorials tonight.

The only thing I don't like about LR so far is that I don't have an option for having the picture take up my entire screen for editing. It's difficult to really see some of the adjustments on my 15" screen.

Will someone let me know if my watermark is showing up in #1? I forgot to add it, then rehosted it, but I think my computer already has the pic stored somewhere so it's not showing up.

Place is massive. Worlds largest Aquarium. 8 million gallons of water, 100,000 fish. I have never been, but I have heard it is absolutely amazing. Has Beluga whales, and other crazy things other places couldnt imagine

Looks like jason did a great job capturing its beauty
