Default Car names?!

I notice many many people have names for their cars. I have never had a name for any car I have ever owned.

I would like to know how and why you named your car.

I want to name mine but nothing seems fitting?!

I've named almost all of my cars. Most of them have been names from Grateful Dead songs. Some because they were just funny names that fit. I name my cars because I love my cars.
My current ride is a BIG, BLACK, BEAST. We call her Bertha.

Never really gave it that much thought.

How about "Brotha" but it has to be the way Desmond from Lost says it.

Or maybe Bauer after Jack Bauer....I think I like that

I've always had a knack for naming pets or coming up with other things like vanity plates and usually go for the play on words or double entendre approach, though sometimes a name just fits. My MINI, Vanilla SCoop, is the second car I've named. The first was an old Jeep CJ7 which was a beast I named the Chariot.

I found the name!

Oscar (The Grouch)

My car hates the cold and the DSC and TPM lights come one. My TPM randomly comes on and goes off, and hates going into first gear unless the car is warmed up.

Oscar.

I plan on blacking mine out so I named it Erebus

"In Greek mythology, Erebus (ˈer.e.bus) or Erebos or Erebes (Ancient Greek: Ἔρεβος, English translation: "deep blackness/darkness or shadow") was the son of a primordial god, Kaos, and represented the personification of darkness and shadow, which filled in all the corners and crannies of the world."
