sorry to revive an old thread but i was wondering, does this axle problem happen with air ride or just coilovers? any information would be helpful. maybe some forst hand knowledge from somebody with air ride?

I think the occurrence of the axle problem is still too random and the number of bagged minis is far too low to draw any conclusions between the two.

Presumably, bagged MINIs will drive higher than some of the extreme static cars, so it'd be safe to assume that you'd be less likely to have the issue. With that said, bagged cars still roll relatively low and at a point where the axle is most likely outside of its intended driving angle...so the potential to have issues is obviously still there.
