Nathan..... "Gnatster" won the award.... I just thought I could help him with the presentation a little....

The week following MOTD 2014, Nate had a heart attack.....

He had a successful triple bypass yesterday.... In recovery now.... Doing well...

Default Made these for my wife's birthday...

My wife wanted some end tables to put next to our fireplace.

Made these out of scrap angle iron, bar stock and leftover stair balusters from a stair railing job.... Had my buddy that does powder coating apply a black satin to the table frames. I have a company I use for marble that donated two black marble tops to the project..... Had these done in time for my wife's birthday...

Punched out some flat disks so the floor wouldn't get marked.

Looks great. You could have like.. a career in making things out of metal. You should look into that.

I know you were probably just showing the marble top, but it's the perfection of the corner and finish of the welds at the joints that floors me.

I use conditioning belts that I purchase from 3M.... They are a woven belt with embedded grit that allows perfect blending of the welds to the base material.... I use fine, medium and coarse..... They are somewhat expensive at $40 a belt but do an excellent job of blending the metal....
