I'm not impressed.

Which is why I would sell my PS3 if I could...

I need some wheels.

It took nearly 4 years from GT3 to GT4, and when you consider the amount of time it takes to make one car in the game, and all the other cool stuff, I'd say that it's save to say that in the 4 years since GT4's release Polyphony another year is logical. Think about it too, this is GT5, so five years to make.....GT4 was 4 years......Just a thought.

I do solidly believe that it'll be here first quarter 2010. I'm saying March, just like when GT4 finally came out. So until then, I wait.....playing GT4 which I could play OVER AND OVER.

Looks great.. Like with driving crappy cars.. I think the NASCAR will open peoples eyes to just out complicated that skill is in it's own right. Is it my thing? No.. but will be a new challenge. People think drag racing is easy too. "straight line" then you lean how bad you really are at it. Most people walk away saying "it's dumb" yeah ok.. cause you failed.

Yeah I think it'll shock players on how hard it is to drive 200 mph while surrounded by other cars, on a banked oval no less. Also in the video, the flag for Indy Motor Speedway is flying, so chalk the brickyard down as another new course.

NASCAR already has its own racing game series. Why include it in the Gran Turismo series too?

I have yet another reason to dislike NASCAR...holding up the GT5 release.

I don't mind that NASCAR is in GT5, it will just open up the GT franchise to even more fans and sell more copies for Polyphony. Just business.

HERE is an interview with Gran Turismo father Kazunori Yamauchi about GT5 and GT Mobile

Wait, why's everyone so up at arms about NASCAR cars in GT5? I don't really care either way, but remember that stock cars have been in just about every iteration of Gran Turismo, official NASCAR license or not. Even the first Gran Turismo had a stock car in it if you did race modifications on a certain domestic car. I wanna say it was the Dodge Intrepid.

I think I remember reading on GTPlanet that Kaz. had said that the game was gonna be released sometime this year but I can't remember exactly where it said that.

I sure hope it does, though I suppose waiting a little while longer is preferable to having a rushed, shoddy product. Seems like that's the approach they're taking with the Arkham Asylum game and so far I've heard nothing but good stuff about it.
