@ wake -- i saw someone on the tex who swapped the red for white. looks good, not sure if i will go there... i'm already stuck on how to get the stupid side markers out. i scratched my front bumper (just a tiny one), but don't want to do too many more scratches without figuring it out.

@notfunky -- thanks!

looks super clean on those rims and with the white. Makes me wish my mini was alpine white, not PW

so, heading to waterfest on sunday... i can't decide if i want the apr or revo tune. apr is $499, revo is $399 (show pricing). will also be picking up a CAI... eyeing the forge one... which their show pricing is up to 40% off, but won't know till i get there.

revo tune has a shop local to me that i can go to if anything gets wrong... not sure where the closest apr shop is.. but the apr tune is not only $499, but you also get ALL the programs...

decisions, decisions....

i know... must do some research today. the revo shop is like 30 minutes away... but the apr is so tempting with all the programs... and i can just switch it off when i go into the dealership... which i have to do soon for my 10K service.

I have revo, its all good, they are all the same basically, and my dealer could care less, but i don't know your dealer. basically I went revo as it was cheaper, I knew I would NEVER turn it to anything but 93, and I know the guy that can reflash it if my battery disconnects and they will do it for free, not $50 like apr

nick has revo and loves it... i have been leaning more towards revo myself. swift motorsports will definitely do that stuff for free to (nick already had to get his reflashed), so i think i'm going to go with that.... and the forge intake...

it's like christmas in july! wheeeeeeeee......

are you heading to wf this weekend?

as usual, it was hot as balls at waterfest this year. forge made me an offer i couldn't refuse... so walked away with a chip, their "twintake" and nick got a short shifter for his mk2.

i already have fondled the intake, so peeerty. unfortunately i found some weird oil on my engine today and i'm at 8,500 miles, so i'm going to wait to install after my 10k service. :cry:

the chip is AWESOME. so happy i went with revo.
