Default Another Miata... Welcome to Mazda|Underground.

A little back story here. Things at work weren't looking very good there for a while so I got rid of both Beetle to get rid of some things and pay down some bills. I made a fair bit of profit on both cars.

The GTO needs a transmission, so I had to find myself a daily driver in a hurry. I looked at getting another Fiero (that would be #5) but I didnt want to deal with a junk 2.8 again. Then one of my friends suggested some other cars, and a Miata was one of them. Some of you may remember my sorta slammed '02 LS Miata from a couple years ago. I had alot of fun with that car and I wanted another.

An NB was out of the question because they are still rather expensive. I found this car in PA about an hour southeast of Erie. I was able to talk him down a bit and get it for what I feel was a fair price. The car was in California till 2005 when the last owner bought it to carry behind his motor home. It had only 128k miles on it when I picked it up. Its super super clean underneath.

Emailed the guy on Saturday night and picked it up Monday afternoon.

I bought a nice hardtop for the winter (and because I broke the plastic back window ) No real plans till spring time, then come the coilovers and a set of widened factory steel wheels.

So, thats about it. Here are the pics.

I kind of have a thing for close together fog lights. lol

Found these very 90's looking CIBIE knockoffs that Pro Comp makes. Probably going ti take them off once I find a set of OEM NA fogs but they work for now.

Haha everyone has said that so far.

I need to just get the projectors and tuck them in there a bit. I like having the functionality of fogs but it's hard to find a set that actually works well. Hella sells some but they are $60 each.
