Haha nope. It's still the same as the day I bought it aside from being debadged and de-wipered (I got bored one day). For now it's really just my daily. I'm not sure I want to invest a lot of time/money into it. I know it's a slippery slope

I may toss some airride and wheels on it at some point just to have my daily be a little cool

Ooooooo. I like the sound of that. I am for sure putting mine on air as soon as I can save up enough money for it.

Like I said, it's highly unlikely that this car will ever be much more than wheels and a drop.

My 2002 is a ground up build and will take up most of my mod-budget, and I imagine any other garage time will be spent on one or two StanceWorks project builds in our garage for the 2013 year. The MINI won't take much priority over the others....it's really just the daily at this point.

I'll have a build thread for the 2002 soon to feed your desire for photos. The engine is out and totally torn down and I've dropped the subframes and disassembled the suspension. It's time to start fabbing up custom coilovers and really rebuild/improve the subframe setups.

Again, you know the anticipation has been building for your 2002. No pressure. We shall all wait patiently....

^I really would love to find a 2002 to daily drive. Something not 100% perfect, but certainly cared for and not costing $50k+. Cars like that don't exist in LV.

Haha that about sums it up It's getting the full treatment. It didn't really run, the brakes were completely shot, and the body needs some serious loving. I'm hopefully going to bring it back this year with everything rebuilt and a strong little motor in the bay.

I absolutely love 2002's, I'm not sure they make the best daily though, Sketch......they're 40+ years old afterall

Old school simplicity is goden (just hated the rust). Pre-MINI, always loved 2002s & E30s. No Bimmer ever had me after those.....Hmmm, on 2nd thought, the 1seriesM ain't so bad.
Grats on getting one of the classic classics!
