Hey guys, good to talk to you all again. I think I have a pretty big problem and need some advice. The dealer says I have a broken valve spring. They say they can replace just that one for $1500. They also say the "right way" to do the repair is to replace all of them plus some gaskets - forget which ones. That will cost $4000. idk wtf to do. Do I get it towed to another shop? I obviously can't drive it the way it is so I might have to stay local, but there is nobody I trust to work on the car. Ideas?

I wonder if you can buy a whole reconditioned head for less at an independent mechanic?

Thanks for the help guys. After a lot of digging this might seem like the right direction to go in. That head is very low priced -- cheaper than getting that done at the dealer. Jan also recommended I get the "Jesus" head to replace mine with, which would also come out cheaper.
I am in the middle of talking to a lawyer as well, because the 3rd party warranty that I paid $4000 for should be covering this problem. Thank you for the advice. I will also consider this option.
