Yeah, trying to do fairly simple things, anyone have a DIY on an APD, or maybe a light bar, or a rear seat delelte?

three easy ones i can think of would be...

a good lightbar with the option for 2 or 4 lights
OR

single light mount. Out Motoring used to have fantastic ones.

strut tower plates

convertible cross brace?

Do a search over on NAM for DIY stuff, should be some good hits there. I haven't done any DIY projects yet or I would help out.

Designing the thing should be part of the fun though. Not sure what materials you will be using, but for a light bar all you would really need to know is where you are going to mount to and go from there to make sure you clear things.

Strut tower plates should be easy if you are using metal. Look at the craven speed ones and try to imitate that. You would just be measuring 3 bolt holes and a main hole, not too much going on there and will save you from mushrooming.

Interior mods would be a good place to go too. They can be more forgiving and more tailored to what you would actually want. An ipod or gps holder tied to the bolts in the downtubes could be some fun. Think the OEM cup holder.

Thats all I got, good luck man!
