It is a great car. Its actually the one i wanted to buy originally, but I wasn't able to afford it at the time. So I went with what I thought was the next best thing, the regular Protege'.

haha, it wont be too drastic. Just 3/4 of an inch, and apparently slightly more in the back. I didn't want too big of a drop

Default mazda on the dyno

We're fixing up the dyno and should have it working by tomorrow. We're thinking about testing to see if it runs properly with iggy's mazda protege. Any takers on whp guesses?? Closest guess gets an official "helix sticker"

Here is some info for ya'll that dont know much about Protege's.

The engine is a naturally aspirated 2.0L 4 cylinder that produces around 130bhp and 135lb ft at the crank. Its a 5-speed manual.

The car has about 43k miles on it with all scheduled maintence done. Bone Stock. Never been dynoed.

My official guess is 94whp and 97lb ft. I have no idea what itll do since I haven't even bothered to check dyno sheets of other stock cars.

Anyone else have a guess?

DOH! We hit alittle snafu. We don't have any tow hooks that will work with my car. Dont want to strap down the back of the car and leave the front to move around on the dyno. Maybe before I sell it in the fall I can get a run in
