Purchased her last summer from VW dealer, as she was previously a trade-in. Steadily shaping her to my image- I'm working toward a subtle OEM+ look, clean & true to the original design. Once I've cleaned up all internal weaknesses (new engine mounts, bushings etc) I'll be in the market for 15 inch wheels to reduce unsprung weight.. Any recommendations?

Awesome. I've got 151,000 on mine (and a bit more than 115hp, too). Two years of daily driver use, and I still love it. The wheels you want are the R81 Imola, often referred to as "holies"'or "pepperpots." They are a bit narrower than your Daytonas, though.
