Default Meet Skippy...... Damn Skippy....

Been working on this for a minute. To bring some folks up to speed, I'll post a couple pictures of past rides, then post some pics of my new project.
This was my first MINI a 2004 DINAN equipped S.

This is my new project. Been wanting a classic for a long time and finally broke down a grabbed one.
Here is a little journey of the last month or so.

Wait. What?!

The baseball cap's supposed to be backwards, not upside-down!

I thought everyone knew I flipped the coupe. Hit a slick spot in a curve and boom! I miss it a lot, but I've always wanted a classic, so I used the money I would have put into building a new one into this classic. Can't really say for sure what all this classic is made up of.... But the engine is a 1275.
I kept the classic a secret from most of the club until my annual "Casa de Jomo" picnic. I hid the car at a near by friend's house, and had Drew give me a ride over there as everyone went out to take pictures with their cars. He loaned me a helmet, and I came driving by in the classic with this helmet on and sunglasses. Most people didn't know it was me until I parked and took the helmet off. It was a fun way to answer all the questions about "my next ride" that I've been bombarded with. Somewhat of an "unveiling"....

Woah! I never knew you totalled the coupe. Glad you are ok.

The classic is pretty awesome. I like the continuation of the white theme.
