Awesome Marcel!

Drew, yeah, the thing handles like a dream, and man, it flies. The first jump I hit I almost hit myself in the face with the handlebars because I wasn't expecting it to be so light in my hands.

Oreo... Post some pics of your road bikes!

Cool. Makes me wanna' go home & ride - except it poured here today and made everything a mud pit (which prevents trail riding until the park ranger says "OK").

Yeah dude... I've been itchin' to get home and ride it all day. The 16t/33t gear ratio is perfect for me as well with the 26" wheels... I'm lovin' this thing!

Oooo, I just got (back) into biking a couple months ago.

I have an '07 Rockhopper Comp. that I haven't even logged any miles on yet! I have Juicy 7 brakes and Sram X9 shifters comming for it too.

Road bike: '07 Allez Elite Double, w/ new 105 calipers. This one is my baby, have about 500 miles on it already. The bottom bracket and cranks fell apart in Mexico but Specialized replaced them all with really nice ones that the name of escapes me right now.

The Allez looks sweet.

Specialized mountain bikes are hot too. Had a Rockhopper Comp myself wayyyy back (turn that dial back to 1995). It was a great ride, not the lightest but it had such a good feel to it. Very nice piece...

Congrats on the new two wheelers!

I spent the big money on the wife's bike. Looks a little different now, as I've dumped the junk FSA crank for a Shimano R700 unit.

Yeah, when I started getting into serious riding I was riding my friend's mountain bike ($4,000 custom Santa Cruz Blur) with road tires that had Hayes hydros and then got the rockhopper with the mech. discs and was like " uh, no."

Thanks for the comments, everyone. I love my bikies.

Can I bust in with a couple "slightly off-topic" pics? A friend of mine just opened a very swanky little high-end bikeshop called PLAN B... here's a couple shots I took after his pre-opening party...

Tom... That looks like a really cool little shop... Couches and all!

BTW, I took the new bike up to the DJ park (dirt jump park) last night... So fun...
