We cut the springs in our 24 Hours of LeMons Volvo... handled great.

Take the cups out like I mentioned from day one. I shouldn't be the only one shortening the speedbumps outside of your place.

i had to run cut springs on the KW's on the mk3 variant...no choice

pics below are with 2 coils removed on rears. the rears do not have helpers on the variant setup and no bushings to shorten, they had 8 dead coils, i removed 2 and get it to this setup. when i sold it the new owner cut more off

if your cutting coils you need to be smart, you remove too much and your coils will come off their mounts and everything will end in disaster. each situation is different.

Ugh I just don't know what to do. Trying to source some shorter springs, but not looking good to find any. I'm still wanting to cut one dead coil.
