I can't wait!! Kaz has only eluded to the release date being before this year's Christmas season, no real hard-set date.

The NASCAR in the game might actually be kinda cool, now that PD has the physics engine at a badass level. WRC...OMG YES!! Damage, cool, but I'm going to end up hating myself because of that...

If anyone else has been playing the GT5P online, they know just how much work PD has put into keeping the online races as "fair" as possible. They've made all kinds of changes to stop players from cheating and grieving others. And if they've put that much work into that, I can't wait for the real thing.

GTPlanent, a pretty damn reliable source in itself for the latest GT Info, posted up some news stating that a 2009 release date for Gran Turismo 5 is "almost certain." Sony has NOT released an info, however there is an expected announcement by Sony at the GamesCom Cologne....I have no clue what that is, but the press conference is on August 18th.

Click here to see the story

Incase you don't want to visit the site, it appears that the release date will be in and around Chirstmas time......With my luck it'll be November 28th.....the day of my wedding...

^ You need to check out GTPlanet then. They've got a guy on the inside who's been very reliable on all his info leaks so far and he's saying Christmas.

Bugatti and Lamborghini are confirmed manufacturers in GT PSP and presumably, GT5. Getting close to go time kids.

The GamesCom thing provided some new cool information last week. Citing an early October release for GT PSP, and most importantly a confirmed by the creator himself QUARTER 4 2009 release for GT5.

Now there has been talk that only 180 of the 1000 plus cars will have damage, and not all cars will have in car views.....so I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Starting to get excited!!!

Damn... one more game to add to the list this year. Funny there wasn't anything I wanted last year at Christmas time. This year's already getting flooded. Uncharted 2, GT5, Beatles Rock band, uh... That's all I can think of right now but feels like a better year for games.

Yeah for sure. I think the last time I bought a PS3 game at full price was LBP. Other than that, I've been DS-ing it up.

Figure I'll just stick this in here... GT PSP review up. 6.8. I haven't read it yet but that doesn't sound too good for a game that's been in production for over 4 years.

I didn't think the PSP version was in the pipeline that long. I kinda got the impression it was more of an afterthought and not given too much priority... I could be wrong on that though.
