Default September 10th, 2011 | San Diego BMWCCA Autocross | Qualcomm

September 10th
LOCATION: Qualcomm West Lot (San Diego)

ONLINE REGISTRATION: $60
http://sdbmwcca.motorsportreg.com/
Online Registration will be open 3 weeks prior to the event
We will take 100 cars with the first 20 non BMWs given a spot.

TIMES
6:30 AM gates open
7:00 AM tech opens
7:00 AM registration opens with priority to BMW and MINI owners
7:30 AM registration opens to non-bmws, any BMW/MINIs arriving after 7:30 are processed in order with the non-bmw's.
8:20 AM tech closes
8:30 AM registration closes

FIRST COME FIRST SERVED. 100 car limit

SD BMWCCA events have a history of filling up early. Online registration is the best way to get a slot, especially for our long-distance and non-BMW competitors, so don’t miss it. We’ll still offer registration on-site if any slots are available. Plan on arriving before the 7 AM registration formally opens to get a number at the gate if you didn't preregister

You must be a BMWCCA member ($45 and totally worth it for the Roundel magazine and the chapter newsletters)

CLASSING: the San Diego chapter has one MINI COOPER class, so all the MINIs are thrown into the mix against each other (supercharger or not). Trophies are given to the top three finishers.

I was thinking of joining the BMWCCA again. Now that I have an Auto-x worthy car again, I want to get as much cone time as possible.

Do it! I'm an instructor now. I've been working a lot with Bryant and his Cooper (red also ), he is now nearly as fast as the S now...usually just a second off!

Well I might have to see how my Mazda2 holds against a ghost of my previous car. I'm gonna give this some serious thought. I just did an event at Califonia Speedway in my Mazda and feel like I'm A LOT quicker in it. Of, course the fact that I hadn't auto-xed in a few years probably made me SEEM quick.
