That's a good price they have for the roval that weekend. You guys could always do Adams in Riverside for $20 on Tuesday nights. Small track like an autocross, but it is a lot of fun.

If you are looking for a track day for less than the $140 you noted, Extremespeedtrackevents.com is having a track day at Streets of Willow on Saturday 11/26, and has a special deal for MINI's, the total fee of $120 includes your track day, a rental helmet, a timing transponder to check your progress, and professional instruction by a qualified race instructor that will be assigned to you. Great deal, especially if this is one of your first times. Use the discount code MINI when you register, and do not sign up for any of the extras. So far there are 16 MINI's signed up. https://www.extremespeedtrackevents....reg_individual Hope to see you there!

I got 5 3 lap sessions there for $20. Best time was 48:85. I think it is a pretty good deal.

Saw that on autoblog this afternoon. I guess it worked out that we all didn't go. If you read the comments on autoblog a few people that attended the event chimed in and said that the autocross was suspended after the accident.

That course layout is very similar, if not the same, from the event I did in August. While I ran I thought of just what would happen if I were to spin. Case in point.....
