Hey Sam did you ever end up painting some the parts in your engine blue. I remember you saying something about this but I never heard any follow up to it. Come to think of it I don't think I've ever seen your engine bay.........got any pics? I'd love to see the alta catch can.

the exhaust is on...

installation went well, though im torn over wether or not to have them put the tips closer together.

the sound is a bit quieter than the free flowing suppertrapp. the tone is also lower and tends to fart a bit less.

torque and hp wise... it is really a well balanced system... i cant wait to measure the backpressure and dyno the car this weekend at steves.

stay tuned for pics...

the exhaust looks hot... but sam already has my vote as to what he should do aesthetically... and i agree with ivan's idea as well.

now... hearing the exhaust... WHOA. haha. i was waiting at starbucks on sunday morning and didn't even have to turn down my radio to know sam was down the block

and i could hear it over the phone, on the freeway (over all my clinks and clunks coming from the back end of my car) haha. it sounds meeeeaaaaaan

Cool

well here its is folks....

complete with sound byte:

though the crappy mic wont do it justice... the sound is actually very low in tone. the whole system weighs in at 10 lbs... this is from the muffler back. with the drycell operation and lack of rear seats.... this puts my rear end approx 100lbs lighter than stock.

30 lbs stock exhaust difference
21lbs drycell difference
10lbs battery box and shrouding difference
30lbs rear seats difference
08lbs rear seatbelts difference

the tourqe and top end hp feel well balanced with this amount of backpressure... now only to dyno it.

stay tuned for the custom rear diffuser!
