Ok resurrection time.
Since I have been dumping photos in my 365 thread instead of using it for a tool to make me shoot more often I'm using this thread for the "dumping" of photos. That one will get the one I really like the most if there is a mass like today.

today I was playing with different ISO settings in lower light situations to experiment and get a feel for the noise/shutter balance point with different lighting.

Eric (I assume it's Eric, pulled it from your HDR), You're doing a great job with these shots in a lot of ways. One thing I noticed is that you have your ISO set higher than it needs to be which could introduce noise into your shots. Try to keep it down to 100, or if you can't, then as low as you can. You're posting a ton of photo's. Keep it up.

BTW, I like HDR's and I love the shot of the Subaru Beautiful reflections. Really great stuff!

Yes it is Eric and thank you. I find myself in a constant mental debate between ISO and shutter speed since I usually hand shoot because I am too lazy to tripod it. (I had the thing yesterday and left it in the car for most of the day.) Maybe I should get a telescoping monopod for that bit of extra stability.

The funny thing is the Subie shot is multiple exposures but not made as a typical HDR just multiple layers and blending options in photoshop because photomatix couldn't make a nice looking HDR out of it.

I like these of the vulture. He was moving around quite a bit in his shady enclosure. got my usual iso noise in the background though. Maybe I should just start making it my signature thing and tell everyone it makes the images "more organic"
