Drew the car is looking good. Yes start a thread....

I like your shot of the mirror, that technique would be cool from one of the pull-offs on the Dragon with a few MINI's coming through the curves.

Good shots!! Can't wait for it to get warm and stay that way. Got a new place we need to go try to shoot.

Last weekend I shot a few more downtown locations. This is my first real attempt at architectural photography, though it is one of my favorites. I shot all of these from the seat of the car, mostly because I was just trying to get a feel for the camera and the area. Also because the majority of these shots are of the abandoned R.J.Reynolds industrial section of downtown W-S. The buildings have walkways over the street and it looks like they ran the streets through the empire that used to be RJR instead of building the buildings around the streets. As always, I'm new to this, didn't edit much at all, and am very open to critique.

I like the one of the glass block windows as well as the last one. RJR looks like it has lots of photographic potential. It would be cool to get into some of those buildings and get some shots.

Cool stuff! Those elephant heads are dope! As far as edits, maybe try making drop down the saturation some to make them feel a little more abandoned and old. The colors seem to pop a bit too much to be old busted buildings.

Looking pretty good Drew. I like that rusty dock/door. I've been trying to scope out some good places for us to take some pics of the cars together. We ALWAYS talk about doing it, but timing never works out. I think the last time we did was at that lake in High Point YEARS ago. I missed my chance with the Mini so hopefully after you get you new wheels on the Miata we can snap some pics together. Got to wait till I get my hatch and rear bumper back on though
