A little update....

Still waiting on the bloody snowflakes....

Supposedly they're at port and the container was held for inspections and X-rays

In the meantime, I've moved, to a sleepy little town that time forgot.

Welcome to Clifton....

Quote:
As of the census of 2000, there were 179 people, 71 households, and 51 families residing in the village. The population density was 1,011.8 people per square mile (384.0/km˛). There were 80 housing units at an average density of 452.2/sq mi (171.6/km˛). The racial makeup of the village was 88.83% White, 1.68% African American, 1.12% Native American, and 8.38% from two or more races.
HAHA!!

Three miles outside of Yellow Springs and right by the Clifton Gorge and Clifton Mill, it seems like I'm in the middle of nowhere....

The house was built in 1851 and it shows it.....none of my floors are completely level, and the windows have a constant bad draft blowing through....but overall, it's a solid little house.

Best part is the 4 car garage, I can burn anything I want and leave my keys in my ignition and not have to worry about it.

There's a huge lot next door and a shelter and another huge lot after that.....I could definitely host a little GTG if I wanted to.

And it's right down the street from Youngs Dairy, one of the stops at Mini Meet East 2010
Here's my pics from that show

Went to eat at the Mill last Sunday morning and this was the view from the table...

There is no mail delivery, so I went to get my free PO Box this morning....

And there's no fire hydrants, so I have to pay more for insurance....

On a scale to 9 and Dayton being a #2 for response time and such, Clifton is a 9

Here's a pic of the old Bus in front of the post office...

Oddly enough, I get a killer wireless signal from somewhere, and AT&T cell reception isn't bad at all!

I haven't done any speed-tests on my PC, but it's fast enough to stream video's on adult swim and the like, so it's good enough with me.

Just got my cable hooked up Tues, so I'm set...

The only thing that's gonna suck is the traffic for the Clifton Mill lights from Thanksgiving to New Years.
